has anyone heard of a flower called whiskery fluff, and if so what would the botanical name be? Thanks so much

RE: whiskery fluff

It is not a name I have ever heard here. I suspect the original owner made it up. I doubt it would be Cleome, as suggested elsewhere, because that is not particularly easy to grow here so has no common name. We just call it Cleome. 2 other possiblities are Clematis vitalba and Anemone pulsatilla.
