tree ferns

Have you any suggestions for companion planting for my new DA which will be in a shady humid area of chipped bark? I note from previous posts that Carex is beneficial, but maybe there is something flowering that could be good too? I live in the South East where the climate is quite mild.

you could try phormiums and different hostas, i have my tree ferns in a bog garden and they look great next to my gunnera manicata :-)

We converted our garden all tropical about 5 years ago.
We have palms, codylines, hostas, cannas, bergeinias, phomemiums, fatsias, choisyas to name a few.
All seem to complement each other in our eyes at least.
We live in Ferndown, 7 miles inland of Bournemouth / Poole.
