Hi guys,

Thanks to those who wanted to see the pics, for anyone having not read the original thread I am looking for advice on creating a waterfall down each of the two pillars at the end of our garden

Picture is of both 'pillars' (I will try and upload others showing distances in other posts if that is permitted).

Original thread entitled "Brick wall waterfall, would love any advice":

I can't help you with the waterfall solution, but I just wanted to say that I think your garden looks good. I really like the brick walls and pillars. I hope you manage to sort out some form of water feature.

Hi, thanks for posting the pics...I've only just spotted them.
Can I ask how you have fixed your climber supports? It looks like wires. Did you use vine eyes or did you attach them to wooden posts?
Have you done any experiments with a hose pipe yet?

The climber supports were just wire from B+Q, they are attached to wooden posts at either side of the wall, I've just used tacks (like a U-shaped nail, like a croquet hoop!) ... I should have used Barrek Strainer so that the wire could be tightened, not that they have become lose but I just think they would have been better. I saw a cool idea for a climber (think it was on chelsea), it was basically wood 2x2's place in a Jenga style against the wall, looked great.

as for the waterfall, no, not done anything with it, although i have now found a company who will make a steal lip for the water to flow out of the brick.
