Kazzies garden & pond

| I have just spent a very pleasant hour having a tidy up and admiring the aconite, cyclamen and other lovelies in the garden - a bit of sunshine lit the spring flowers beautifully and certainly lifted my spirits. Thought of Kazzies garden and wondered how spring is emerging around the new pond. So how is coming along Kazzie? |

| Hello!!! No developments with the garden... I'm still 'keeping off the grass' as instructed! I am so looking forward to planting and the first mow of the year, but its still way too cold and wet. As for Spain... I went out there with friends in October and was well turned off. I went on a cruise over Christmas (which was a first for me) and have booked another to Iceland in July. Any recent pictures of your garden Linda? What about you Sandy... how are things? |

| Hi Kazzie, Iceland sounds wonderful! If you're getting into water travel, try a gulet cruise in Turkey/Greece - fabulous (ok, only holiday I have ever really enjoyed). It sounds as though your new pond is settling ok, no problems with water table etc?. Photo's, - Just took a look at Alisons site, it's a wonderful display of flora fauna and wildlife. Got to get out and use my camera. I watch and enjoy, just don't record enough. So, no new pond pic's yet- but Alison has inspired me. ANy tips for catching camera shy bullfrogs? |

| Thanks for tip on Gulet cruise Linda... I'll investigate. The Christmas cruise was 'different'... ok if in a horizontal position:
Notice how we are all on deck sunbathing! Alison's site is wonderful... I love the video. |

Hi Kazzie Things are tootling along gently - the builder came back today to remedy the ramps he had put in during October/November so hopefully when that is ready we will be able to progress with the second (middle patio) - Still a bomb site at present though. Had a new camera for my birthday in January but have not worked out how to post piccies yet. Can save them as attachments to floppy disc at home and have then tried to post the attachment to a thread here but it did not work - any suggestions as your a computer whizz? Have not got internet facilities at home you see just at work. What was wrong with Spain per se? Friends of mine have moved to Malaga recently - she has a job as an English Teacher and he sets up home computers and designs web sites etc. They have just been adopted by a stray mongrel lurcher and have spent hundreds of euros in getting him his Pet Passport so they can bring him back to UK when they visit their families. We have decided not to install a bigger pond this year as we have too many projects on the go for at least the next six months - there is nothing wrong with my present one except as you know we get hooked and want bigger and better ponds. Take care Sandy |

| Sandy... not sure whether I can advise on your picture posting problems. You need to have them stored on a website or even a personal msn group site (which is what I do and its dead easy, all I do is store pictures there). Once you've done this, you'll be able to post the pics here (I could help you with the msn group thingy if you want... I helped Pearl to set one up with no probs). I'm pretty thick when it comes to computers... ummm, well when it comes to most things actually! Re Spain... we went to Mijas, which is just outside Malaga. Very parched and very English! So looking forward to seeing pictures of your garden and pond Sandy. |

Hi Sandy, you could have a go at posting a photo in the Gallery on this site. You can post it straight from your pictures as long as it's small enough. I think it took me half a dozen postings before I got it right, but no-one seemed to mind! I havn't got the hang of the way Kazzie and Sean post in this forum. So if kazzie posts instructions I'll be having a go too. Kazzie- that cruise photo is wonderful.. made my tummy lurch! |

| Hi have attempted to post a picture on the gallery - will be gobsmacked if it works!! sandy |

| I've been really impressed by everyone's efforts in publishing their pictures. I have tried the 'normal' method as suggested on the site instructions for the gallery, but my pictures are too big and rejected, and I cannot figure out how to shrink them down to size. Kazzie, would it be possible to forward the instructions if I sent you my email address too? |
