My pond photos

I started my wildlife pond a little under a year ago, and despite the windy/wet summer last year the plants and pond life boomed. As soon as the warm weather began this Spring the pond has once again bounced back to life and already there're 3 different 'clumps' of frogspawn, the first of which has already hatched.

Last Summer

This years frogs

Frogspawn and mother (I presume)

Super photos, and I really like the more 'wild' rather than formal look of your pond too. Both photos and pond are inspiring...and the frogs very photogenic too.

Brilliant pics. How big is your pond and what lives in it apart from frogs. It is really lovely.

That's a great looking pond, I'm impressed that it looked so "mature" last summer, even though it is was really very new.

Hi, thanks for the comments. The photos were taken with a Canon Powershot A80. I'm currently saving up my pennies so I can buy a DSLR.

Most of the frogspawn have now hatched and there're thousands of tadpoles everywhere.
