Wilkinson's have a 2.5kg bag of Dorset Gravel which is tiny pebbles. It looks great covering the soil on pond pots and is pretty cheap.

Just bought a big, black bucket with a pouring lip from the 99p shop. Really useful for my white frogspawn because I won't have to change the water as often.

Sounds good if you can carry it from the town centre!
Don't forget to wash gravel and pebbles before you use them.

Whoops, didn't think about washing it, but everything's still alive! It's sold in the pet section, so figured it was meant for tanks & bowls.
