Do you remember the 'almost' retired landscaper that did my bottom garden? Well he invited me round to see his own garden last weekend and allowed me to take some pictures.

I have popped a link at the bottom if you want to see some more of his lovely, creative and restful garden:

Moorhen pond:

Koi pond:

Patio pond:

Wow, I am impressed! Even called my husband up to have a look! The patio pond in particular is so well designed--it goes to show that being bold pays dividends. Thanks for the pictures.

I loved it too!!! Actually I thought of you Alan when I saw his ferns... they weren't doing so well (don't know if it has anything to do with the time of year). He also has a small wooded area of garden where he's attempting to grow some very young Elm trees.

I would swear I posted a reply in this thread yesterday.. I'm am finally losing my marbles! Kazzie, it's a lovely garden. All of that mature planting made me 'green' with envy. Certainly gave me some idea's for planting up our garden which is very 'hard' right now. I wondered if this is the friend that might help do the patio pond for you?

Linda... your marbles are intact!!! You did reply, but over on this site's Off Topic conversation forum. I think Spike is still moderating because someone's thread got wiped from this pond section recently.

So... If you are reading this Spike, could we have a direct link next to gallery link which takes us to the Off Topic area please?
