Inroducing Grass Carp to the pond??

Last week we found the pond empty of fish (5 three to four inch goldfish), ok it's not the end of the world! I visited the local aquatic shop to restock, they have in stock Grass Carp (two to three inches) - should we consider them for the pond? The pond is more wildlife/informal than ornamental and at the moment is full of plants and tadpoles but we have always kept 4 or 5 goldfish in there just to brighten things up - they seem to have lived quite happily beside the frogs etc Any thoughts (on intoducing Grass Carp) appreciated.....

Grass carp eat algea apparently, so you wont have to much of a blanket weed problem, but they are placid fish mix well with others no problems, can grow to a couple of feet long tho.
