how deep to plant lilies

Does anyone know how deep to plant lilies and how frequent should they be moved for optimum depth?
At the mo I keep moving them so the leaves remain just under the water, most of them are cuttings I took in March. |

| What you are doing sounds correct but what species do you have? Dont exceed their maximum depths. |

| I dont know the type as they were given to me last year. They had massive green leaves & white flowers? |

| How massive is massive? Have a browse of http://www.victoria-adventure.org/ and you may be adle to ID it look at the petal counts and stamen? colours etc |
