Just found this add on another website, would make a good instant pond, Qtank or breeding pond. Reasonable depth and easy to fit a bottom drain.
1600 gallon round pool (brand new)
Description: Rigid free standing suitable for koi or goldfish.
9' round* x 4' deep. can be buried up to the lip or free standing depending on the design of your pond. Comes in black only
you can even cut a bottom drain into it!!

AJC, I'm not connected in any way with this tank for sale. I just saw the ad and thought it was a good way to make an effective koi/fish pond at a reasonable price (delivery is included). Using something like this for a half in - half out pond would save on excavation costs and would be tougher, wrinkle free, fold free and easier to keep clean than a liner.

Never said you did chris, just said it was exspensive lol seen a couple on ebay for about £150, and unless you have a big truck to hand you still have to pay to get it home.
