Plant identification needed, please.

| Does anyone know the name of a pond plant which has yellow, buttercup-like flowers, grows to approximately 18" high and looks a bit like the way corn grows?
I'm about to donate some pond plants to a garden nursery I've recently come across and this is the only one that I don't know the name of.
Sorry, can't post a pic.
Ta!

Try looking up globe flower or Trollius. I assume it's not king cup Caltha palustris. Also look up Ranunculus - water spearwort. |

| Blimey, Damp, you've done it again! Don't know how you do it! Ranunculus Lingua Grandiflora it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also have Caltha Palustris which puts on a lovely show earlier than this plant. While I was searching I found some great aquatic plant sites that I've bookmarked for future reference. |
