Toad on the run!

(I was out with the camera last night using nightframing, what fun!)

Great photo. They are certainly not as pretty as a frog, too nobbly whereas a frog is quite sleek.

Yeah nice picture. I'd be out in my garden tonight like a shot taking pictures, but my neighbours might worry about me. I too damn self conscious!

Digi cameras are great.

Just signed up to GW and followed your toad forums. Great to hear your keen on them. I see them round our old farm pond- not much water in it but that's another story and agree that tho' they are supposed to crawl not hop, they can crawl at a heck of a speed if theyre trying to get away.

We have seen loads of toadlets over the past few days at different rspb reserves we have been to and noticed that they do hop as well as crawl. And they were definitely toads not frogs...
