Electrics bioforce filters etc!!

I have a question, I have a hozelock bioforce 2200 never used with UVC unit!
I'v never used it but would like to but,I prefer low voltage stuff!!
Why is it that these companies can't make lowvoltage UVC units with their pressure filters!!!

| Its difficult to run a UV on lower power I guess, and I doubt a 12v pump would be up to much, only thing ya can get at 12v is pond lights. |
