| Our Gold Koi has been acting very strange for 4 days now ,it has been swimming on its side and appears to be the same side all the time? and seems to be wriggling and struggling to reach the surface. It has not got any marks on its body ,no Fungus, no spots nothing. We have taken out of the pond yesterday and put it into a tank,we are trying our hardest to save it ,does anyone know what can be wrong with it,we dont want to let it suffer if there is no chance it will get better, Many thanks Karen |

| Sounds like swim bladder probs, try raising the water temp slowly in the tank, if the koi rights itself leave it in the tank a couple of days, then slowly lower the temp again until its matches the pond water temp, sometimes warming the water can solve a swim bladder prob, but it can also cause an out break of parasites, so watch the koi carfully if you do this, and treat for parasites if needed before you put it back in the pond. good luck with your koi. |
