Herons and Crows

Is it only in my part of the world (Bexleyheath, Kent) but when we see a heron turn up on an ajoining properties roof, in just a few seconds 1 or 2 crows appear at the other end of the ridge and slowly jump along the tiles until the heron moves on, whereapon they make chase shouting and squarking.... If he (she) then lands on another roof, the same thing happens until the heron has enough and flys off to pester somewhere else!!
I just wonder if it's something to do with Boris Johnson now being Londons Mayor and he's managed to persuade local councils to train crows??? |

| Crow power - good for Boris! Seems like these crows are actually your mates, because I'd rather have them than a heron around my pond any day! |
