 o
ill Koi

One of my Koi is looking distinctly unwell. It spends a lot of time on its own, only coming up to feed.
It just sits on a ledge motionless. I have noticed over the past day or so that it seems to be finding it difficult to swim to the surface. It looks as though it is using every muscle to swim to and fro to propel it upwards, only to become exhausted. Water conditions I believe remain OK.
Any ideas on what this might be. Could it be a swim bladder problem???

Any advice gratefully appreciated

RE: ill Koi

I'm afraid I don't know much about koi so can't help. Usually there are alot of fish owners lurking here, ready to help.
I would suggest phoning or going to see your local fish/aquarium shop and ask them.
