Cleaner water without filter sponges.

| As i am a lazy so and so i have taken the coarse filter material out of my filter, as i did last winter(i don`t like my hands in cold water) i`ve turned of the uv and just left the bio in, i am very pleased to report that my water is clearer than it has ever been before, i can even see my minnows from my bedroom window, if only it was so easy in the summer. derek. |

| your filter will still be clogged with bits even in winter. |

| There is nothing in the filter body to clog up,the water just flows around and through the bio media then through to the waterfall, the filter body is not choc-a-block with media only what is normally in below the sponges. |
