| I'm still wanting to clean out my pond, but it has many baby newts..does anyone know when they leave the pond or will they stay in over winter...the books say aug/sept & now its Oct, dont they have a calender?? |

I think they stay in of they aren't fully mature, but I'm not an expert on newts. Why not just fish some out and send them to my pond!!..... |

| The books may say aug/september, but are they living with our weather. The little newtlets may be confused. I would be happy to have some confused newtlets in my pond.. pretty please.. |
