newtlets in pond

I'm still wanting to clean out my pond, but it has many baby newts..does anyone know when they leave the pond or will they stay in over winter...the books say aug/sept & now its Oct, dont they have a calender??

I think they stay in of they aren't fully mature, but I'm not an expert on newts.
Why not just fish some out and send them to my pond!!.....

The books may say aug/september, but are they living with our weather. The little newtlets may be confused. I would be happy to have some confused newtlets in my pond.. pretty please..
